TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Eligibility:

a. Applicants must be citizens of Abia State, Nigeria or residing in Abia State
b. Applicants must be admitted to or enrolled in an accredited tertiary institution in Nigeria.
c. Applicant must be in the second year of their study
d. Scholarship recipients must maintain satisfactory academic progress.

2. Application Process:

a. All applications must be submitted through the official Unubiko Foundation Scholarship Portal.
b. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
c. Double entry of application will disqualify the applicant
d. Submission of false information will result in disqualification.

3. Selection Criteria:

a. The selection process is based on academic merit, financial need, and a written statement of purpose.
b. Shortlisted candidates may be required to undergo an interview.

4. Award Disbursement:

a. Scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to the educational institution.
b. Recipients must provide proof of enrollment and academic progress to receive subsequent disbursements.

5. Scholarship Amount:

a. The scholarship amount for the student’s need will be determined by the Foundation.
b. The amount will cover tuition, accommodation, and other related educational expenses.

6. Duration of Scholarship:

a. The scholarship is awarded on an annual basis, subject to renewal based on academic performance.
b. Recipients may reapply for subsequent academic years.

7. Publicity and Promotion:

a. By accepting the scholarship, recipients consent to the use of their name and image for promotional purposes by Unubiko Foundation.
b. Unubiko Foundation reserves the right to share success stories and updates related to the scholarship program on its official platforms.

8. Disqualification:

a. Unubiko Foundation reserves the right to disqualify any applicant or recipient for violation of the terms and conditions.
b. Disqualification may occur at any stage of the application or award process.

9. Amendments:

a. Unubiko Foundation reserves the right to amend these terms at its discretion.
b. Any changes will be communicated through official channels.
